Are You Ready For The Post-Election Chaos?
Whoever wins, we’re in for riots and maybe worse
Believe it or not, this is the calm before the storm. Yes, another storm is brewing. Things may seem to have already reached a fever-pitch with the BLM protests and COVID hysteria, but the worst is yet to come. November is going to be a rough month.
With the presidential election right around the corner on November 3rd, I hope people aren’t going to be blindsided by the anger which will erupt, on one side or the other, once the results are in. I suspect we’re in for another close contest, although resistance to the outcome is inevitable I think, even if one of the candidates were to win by a landslide somehow.
It’s almost comical to imagine how different resistance would look on each side. If Trump loses, some of his base will take to the streets with guns. Some may try to run over liberals with their trucks. We’ve already seen that some of the conservative ilk are willing to attempt kidnapping elected officials, so what else could we be in for?
If Biden loses, we’ll see a new wave of protests which will likely look much like prior Women’s March and Black Lives Matter protests, and likewise won’t make a lick of difference. Most or all protesters will be peaceful, and some people will get hurt, and those people will probably have been on the peaceful side. Or will it be peaceful this time? Will democrats actually go learn to shoot a gun?
When in ‘Murica… Do as the ‘Muricans do.
It’s never made much sense to me that those on the left always came to the gun fight with their hands up. No, we’re not in the old west anymore, but we also have less of a democracy now than we used to. Maybe a change of tactic is in order.
Of course, ideally we would just reform the system which is leaving so much of the country unheard. It’s hard to say which side is being screwed exactly. The liberals would say the last election was stolen, and I would agree, though in truth it isn’t because Hillary won the popular vote. She also stole the democratic nomination. With two unscrupulous thieves to choose from this past election, though, I can’t be happy that only one failed to prosper.
