About That Ashley Madison Documentary on Netflix…

Life is short. Don’t f*ck it up.

When I saw that there was a documentary about the infamous web company Ashley Madison coming out on Netflix, I immediately set a reminder to watch. Cheaters have always fascinated me.

It’s satisfying to watch this whole thing play out, as I feel strongly that when truths need to be revealed, they should be. And when people are being shady, and selfish, and doing wrong to others, they should be held to account. The Ashley Madison saga delivers on every level.

Of course, this is nothing new. I’ve been long-aware of this particular bit of cyber history, and watching these episodes even reminded me of an article I had written for a website called Rant Lifestyle back in 2015 when the data breach hit the news. At the time, I felt about the same about it as I do now. As that uniquely gay and original pop starlet may like to take credit for saying, “Karma’s a bitch.”

(How old was she in 2015, anyway?)

Anyway. I checked the way back machine and couldn’t find the article, and the Rant company websites have been down for some time, but I did distinctly remember the satisfaction of seeing so many cheaters exposed as I tried to write something more substantial than a series of cackles.
